Mr. Roberts is presently Managing Director of Fidelitas Capital Partners, an independent private equity investment sponsor and private equity/M&A advisory firm.  As an independent private equity sponsor, Fidelitas Capital partners with its longstanding equity investor relationships to acquire controlling stakes in and grow established lower middle-market companies through leveraged buyout, buy-and-build and majority recapitalization transactions.  Mr. Roberts also presently serves as a Director for Blackland Group, an aerospace manufacturing focused private equity firm based in Dallas, Texas.  Mr. Roberts has spent nearly 18 years working with middle-market sized companies as an investment banker or private equity investor.  Previously, Mr. Roberts held positions with private equity investment firms including Cotton Creek Capital, Trinity Hunt Partners, and Hunt Capital Group.  Mr. Roberts started his career with the corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions advisory practices of a predecessor of Bank of America, and also served in the corporate finance practice of Merrill Lynch & Co.

Mr. Roberts has previously served on the Board of Directors of Waste Partners Environmental, Graco Holdings, Dataside, and Tri-State Alarm.

Mr. Roberts is the recipient of a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Honors from Oklahoma State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Roberts’ community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of Metro Collegiate Ministries International, and he is a member of Watermark Community Church.

Mr. Roberts, born in 1971, resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife Jamie.
